Eeks! is the purple background a flower?

Reminds me of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley's face in the enchanted jungle!!

Hi CT,
Obviously you are not a spider fan.
I like your nom de guerre. I bet you are a 12th Man fan.

Hi Tabib,
Thanks! It keeps a low profile and is quite harmless.

Hi Aufidius,
Thanks! Good to hear from another bug enthusiast.

Hi Java,
Thanks! It was quite tiny and was shot at life size.

Hi Flowergirl,
That is the exterior of our house.
Normally this one is found in barks resembling its body colour, but this particular individual has given up its camouflage to find easy prey that get drawn to lights.

Hi Delilah,
Thanks! Nightmares featuring this one would not be too cool, I guess!

Scary, I am not a fan of spiders, but this is a fantastic close-up. Have a wonderful week.

Hi Amila...That's one perfect capture, showing all the details of this dreaded little creature! As much as I love wildlife, I confess, I still cringe a little at these guys. I'm imagining your pond is full of dragons by now?!

I know I should be saying,"how cool!" (because it really is) but all that's coming out of my mind is "aaaargh!". I can handle tiny innocuous looking spiders but up close and with those hairy legs ...!

Hi Chriss,
Sorry for the late reply. I took a few more head close ups of this and they look scarier.

Hi Kim,
You are not the only one who do not like spiders - so you are excused! I witnesses two dragonflies emerging yesterday and had quite a time photographing them. I will share them soon.

Hi Sunita,
Thanks for being honest! Spiders make very interesting macro subjetcs and I am afraid you will see aa few more of these in posts to come!

I am sure you are happy that Mumbai Indians have got off to a winning start.

私は、その形状と色に目を瞠りました。

I stared wide-eyed at the shape and a color. .
It is the beauty that it is hard to describe.
I am charmed.

Great shot again Amila - do you know what species it is ? I find the spikes on its behind very interesting - never seen those on a spider before!

Hi Riyazi,
I have no idea what it is - I am awaiting a verdict from an informed source. The same species is in the post above.
